Here we are! Smack in the middle of summer and Ottawa has finally opened it's doors, somewhat. We are all cautiously exploring the world around us again. I have packed my NY skylines bag and headed off to be a vendor in some fun and exciting craft and farmer's markets. I am a beginner, so I am slowly learning the ins an outs of markets. If you have any tips, I'm all ears.
I will be at the St Laurent Ottawa Artisan Craft Fair all summer long on Sundays - right until my favorite holiday - Halloween. Come see us on Sundays, in the old Sears parking lot from 10-3.
I am also at the Carleton Place Farmer's Market on the first Saturday of the month until October.
Our sling bags are selling like hot cakes and there are limited designs of each, when they are gone, another fabulous fabric takes it's place! We have lots of off cuts and scraps from these and other products that we turn into scrunchies and make up removers, they also sell out pretty early, so make sure you come visit us if you can.
One thing I hear a lot (and also say myself) is that I want to look at everything before I buy anything. Then I promptly forget where I saw the treasure of my dreams or it's sold out. I will be supplying a post card sized order sheet so you can always remember where you saw that "must have" item and what it is so that you can find it again! I'd love to know what you think about it!
